COVID-19 and Babies/Preschool Ministry

March 14, 2020

We are all trying to understand what to do with COVID-19 and the effects it is having on a world-wide scale. We are praying for all those who have been affected by the outbreak. We are also trying to be wise and follow the recommendations of those in authority over us.

For this reason we have determined that tomorrow, March 15, we will not offer Babies and Preschool ministry for either the Sunday school hour or the Worship hour. Children this young spread germs more easily than other church attenders and many of these children are not yet able to express if they don't feel well.

Babies and Preschool aged kids are welcome to attend Sunday school and corporate worship but they will need to remain with their parents.

We also will not offer Children's Church tomorrow as many of the children who would attend Children's Church fall into the same category.

Parents, as Pastor Al has already expressed, you should feel the freedom to keep your family home OR to bring them to church. Love for God and love for neighbor may look different for each of us as we navigate our way through this situation. And that is ok.

We are thankful today and every day that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind."
