Baptist Global Response Christmas Gift Catalog

November 5, 2020

The Christmas season is almost here and it is one of the most joyful times of the year.  It’s when we gather to exchange presents in honor of the precious gift God gave to us more than 2,000 years ago, his son, Jesus Christ.

But as we all know the Christmas shopping can quickly turn from merry to stressful when we run out of gift ideas.  So, to relieve some of that stress, take a moment to look at the Baptist Global Response Christmas gift catalog on the table in the Visitor Center and in the fellowship hall on Sunday, November 8, 2020.  Look at the list of items that will not only bless and honor your loved ones but will show love to struggling people elsewhere in the world.

  • For those children in your family, purchase a group of chickens that can provide a family with delicious eggs and meat to keep their family fed.
  • For Dad or Granddad, the practical man in the family, purchase a tarp to help shelter disaster survivors until they can build new homes or make much needed repairs.
  • To honor the new addition to the family, give a gift of childbirth classes or infant formula.  This gift will provide another woman with the education and support needed to bring a precious life into this world.
  • Find the perfect gift for that hard to buy for person in your family who ‘doesn’t need anything’ for Christmas.  Let your children help pick out an item and use this as a teaching moment on giving.
The smallest gift can make a huge difference.  Just think how your gift of a blanket or food can help people or families trying to put their lives back together.

Please pray and thank God for the shelter you and your family have and take a moment to share this blessing with those that do not have.  All gifts are tax-deductible and take a moment to look through the catalog.  Order forms are located in the center of each catalog.  Just complete the order form, include your check and mail in the enclosed envelope to Baptist Global Response.
